Site work for public and utility projects

Ives Contracting is a civil and site work contractor based in Virginia Beach, serving all of Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. We handle site preparation, grading, excavation, storm drainage, stormwater ponds and utility-side civil work for public agencies, utilities and prime contractors.

We self-perform the work with our own crews, equipment and dump trucks, so excavation, hauling and material supply stay under one contract and one schedule.

Our certifications make us an easy fit on public work: Virginia DBE and SWaM (#805517), SBA Woman-Owned Small Business, and GSA Multiple Award Schedule 47QSMS25D00CF.

Civil construction across Hampton Roads: we provide civil construction and site work in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News, Hampton, Portsmouth, Suffolk and Williamsburg, and for municipalities, utilities and agencies statewide across Virginia and in northeastern North Carolina.
