We run tandem, tri-axle, quad-axle and quint-axle dump trucks, priced by the hour, by the ton or by the yard, with crews available 24 hours a day. From a single truck to a full fleet, we scale the truck count to your volume and schedule.
We haul dirt, stone, sand, gravel, asphalt and other aggregates in and out of job sites, and we can supply the material too, so one call covers both the truck and the load. Our hauling area covers Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg and the surrounding Hampton Roads region, plus northeastern North Carolina.

Hauling is priced by the hour, by the ton or by the yard, depending on the job. Every job is quoted up front: tell us the material, the quantity and the site and we will send a price.
What areas do you haul in?

How many trucks can you put on a job?
As many as the job needs. We run a single truck for a small delivery or a full fleet for mass excavation, export and paving work, and we schedule the truck count around your production rate. Tell us the volume and timeline and we will line up the trucks.
What size dump trucks do you run?

Can you supply the material as well as haul it?
Yes. We supply stone, gravel, sand, fill dirt and other aggregates and deliver them with our own trucks, so you have one point of contact.
Does your hauling count toward DBE goals?
Ives Contracting is a certified Virginia DBE and SWaM (#805517). Hauling performed with our own trucks can count toward DBE participation on eligible projects. Ask us for our certification letter for your bid package.
Can I get digital load tickets and a daily load report?
Yes. On request we provide digital load tickets that are GPS time-stamped at pickup and drop, plus a daily load report, so you can check quantities without chasing paper tickets. Tell us when you book the trucks and we will set it up for your job.
Are your trucks GPS tracked?
Yes. Every Ives truck is GPS tracked, so our dispatchers know where each truck is, can give you accurate arrival times and can keep deliveries moving on your schedule.
